Attention Licensees

The Board has noted an increase in the number of psychologists who have chosen to renew their license close to the expiration date. As stated on the license renewal application, a renewal may take 6-8 weeks to process. A license renewal is complete once we receive a completed application, the appropriate renewal fee(s), and your record has updated in our database. The Board will not verify that a license has renewed until the licensee's record has updated and we cannot expedite this process.

If you are unsure of when your license will expire, it is always the last day of your birth month every two years. For licensees who are renewing for the first time, the license period may be less than two years. License renewal applications are sent as a courtesy to each licensee 45 - 60 days in advance of their license expiration date. The renewals are sent to the licensee's address of record. If you do not receive a license renewal application within a month prior to your expiration date, please contact the Board and we will send/fax one to you.
