Effect of Executive Order on the Board of Psychology

Due to the 2008/2009 budget impasse and the recent Executive Order signed by Governor Schwarzenegger on July 31, 2008, the Board of Psychology has been required to temporarily reduce its staffing in the licensing and enforcement areas until the 2008/2009 budget is enacted. The Governor's order may increase the processing time for licensing applications. The Board will endeavor to continue to provide services to applicants, licensees and consumers with minimal interruption or delay during this period.
