For many years the California Board of Psychology has affirmed that issues
of human diversity are an essential consideration throughout all aspects
of the mandates of the board and throughout the education, training,
examination and practice of the profession. To help pursue its objective
of enhancing the focus of licensed psychologists on matters related to
human diversity, the board established a work group of distinguished
experts on the topic. The report of the effort and the summary of the
group's accomplishments can be found at this link
